In troubled times

God of love,
turn our hearts to your ways;
and give us peace.
Amen

The leadership of the Church is meeting regularly remotely We are also praying for individuals in our community who are affected by this infection along with all our key workers.
You will now know we suspended services at Church from 17th March 2020 and the Church building is now closed.

The building may not be in use but the Church is its people and we are finding new ways to organise, meet and worship. We invite you to our virtual church service every Sunday at 10.00am. To join the service please click here before 10.00am on Sunday.

We are working more in the community where we can offer practical help to those who are self isolating and struggling for whatever reason. We are linking up with S17 COVID-19 Community Support Group and many members of our Church who are not self isolating will be helping out. Please see facebook.com/groups/S17COVID19

Redevelopment News
Our plans for the redevelopment of the building have been through a consultation process with Heritage Agencies and City Planners.
We have taken on board feedback from them, the local community and church members. The Church Council has unanimously voted for and endorsed the plans, and are now applying for a Faculty (permission for the building work to go ahead) Thank you all for the comments you submitted in our recent consultation which were overall, very encouraging. Please see the feedback and questions answered document which answers all the outstanding questions people have under the section on redevelopment, as promised. Please look at the book at the back of Church with the plans in as a paper copy of the document will be placed there.
Our Architect is John Cunnington, of Walker Cunnington Architects

Members of the Building Development Group meet regularly with John to shape the Plans in the light of feedback and advice from the Heritage Agencies, and the Diocesan Advisory Committee.
Pledges of financial support continue to build up - thank you to all who have given to this project. In addition please see details of all the great fundraising community events on this website.
